FAQs

We’ve heard it all — here’s what people are really asking behind the scenes.

What is the difference between the AGV and an AMR?

The AGV uses QR-based navigation, which means it follows defined paths using QR codes placed on the floor. This gives it a highly predictable, repeatable material flow  ideal for high-throughput operations where routes are fixed and consistent performance matters more than flexibility. AMRs like the AR series use SLAM navigation and can reroute dynamically. The AGV 100 is the right choice when you need speed, simplicity, and reliable point-to-point transport on known routes.

How long can the AGV run before it needs to stop for charging?

The AGV100 runs for up to 8 hours on a single charge and recharges fully in 3 hours. It also supports opportunity charging  topping up autonomously during task intervals  which means it can sustain continuous operation across shifts without scheduled downtime.

Where is the AGV 100 the right choice for my operation?

The AGV 100 is ideal for high-throughput facilities with fixed, repetitive point-to-point transport routes like warehouses or distribution  centres  where material flow is predictable and consistent. If your operation runs the same routes repeatedly across shifts and needs reliable, high-speed delivery without variability, the AGV100 is built for exactly that.

How do we maintain the AGV 100's QR system?

The AGV 100 navigates using QR codes placed on the floor. Maintenance is straightforward: periodically inspect the QR codes for wear, dirt, or damage and replace them if they become unreadable. Keeping the floor around the QR codes clean and free of obstructions ensures consistent read accuracy and reliable performance. The QR sensor on the robot itself requires no special servicing beyond routine cleaning.
