The "R" designation indicates the robot can handle both open and closed pallets from both floor level and rack level, giving it the highest operational flexibility in the PSR series. The number represents the robot's payload capacity: 1000 kg. The PSR 2000, by contrast, handles closed pallets from rack level only. The PSR 1000R is the right choice if your facility runs a mix of pallet types picked from the floor.

The PSR 1000R uses precision fork guidance and a pallet detection system that verifies pallet position and type before engaging. For closed pallets at floor level, the robot aligns its forks to the pallet's entry points using its sensor suite and only initiates a lift after confirming safe engagement. This eliminates the misalignment risk that makes closed pallet floor pickup unsuitable for simpler AMR models.
